VIEWER OF THE MONTH - JULY
Name Shelly Elson

Age 25

Location Staffordshire, England

What do you love about Hallmark?

EVERYTHING! When we first had Sky I ws so excited but I have to say some of the channels were disappointing, but Hallmark got my attention straight away and I've stuck with it ever since. I love the morning schedule of good old easy going American soaps with shows like Diagnosis Murder, Judging Amy and Monk. I had a spinal operation last July and I was off work for 3 months and I spent the majority of my time in front of Hallmark. It was great to take my mind off things and I honestly believe because I was able to relax in front Hallmark, it helped my recovery - GOOD WORK HALLMARK! I had Sky+ as soon as I could so that once I returned to work, I could record it all and I just love the movie matinees it's fab!

Tell us your perfect weekend?

Bit of Diagnosis Murder, Monk, Judging Amy - You know what whatever you guys put on - I'd still be in front of it and failing that if I can't be in front of it it'gets recorded!

What would you do if you won the lottery?

Never Work again and sit in from of Hallmark!

More seriously, I'd investe some, give some to Animal charities and childrens protection charities, I'd pay for private nursing care for my Mum who is in a home and make sure my family were comfortable.

What is your desert island book?

Susan's Diary for Nicholas by James Patterson and maybe a bit of Jackie Collins Hollywood Wives, Divorces etc they would go down well!

What is your desert island album?

None inparticular. I have a brother and sister quite a bit older than me so I would have to say it would probably be a mixture of the good oldies that I grew up with, such as Bryan Adams, Kim Wilde, Tori Amos, Belinda Carlisle, Nolans, Carpenters, Chesney Hawkes, George Michael, Elton John etc..

Who are the people you admire?

Nurses - I think they are wonderful for what they have to put up with everyday for the little pay they get and in many cases for very little respect - Society could learn a few things from their dedication, patience and consideration for others. It's about time they got more respect & support for what they deal with on a day to day basis - I think it takes a special person to be able to that job.

What do you love?

Chocolate, My Laptop & of course Hallmark!

What do you hate?

Inconsiderate, thoughtless people really bug me!

What could you not live without?

My Laptop and My TV I couldn't choose between them - after a bad day, I would miss boh of them!

What makes you the Hallmark viewer of the month?

I watch the channel religiously everyday! My SKY+ is continually full of Hallmark Programmes. My Fiance tells me off because I take up so much disk space! I just love my Hallmark time - I look forward to my holidays when I can get up in a morning & sit in front of the TV and watch the morning line up with my tea and biscuits, I've even been known to book a day off work so I can have my duvet day in front of Hallmark!

In the week I record my programmes, I watch some at night and save a few for the weekend (generally Monk and the Matinee's as my Fiance is now hooked on them!) Saturday and Sunday Morning is Hallmark time with Tea and Biscuits, I just love it! And then every Sunday afternoon without fail, I look through the schedule for the week and record the ones that I've not already got a series link for

We had a powercut the other day and as a result lots of my programmes didn't record - I was gutted and it just ruined my evening and my weekend :-) I've now talked my Mum, Sister and Friend into watching the channel and they are hooked too! (Now I have a back up plan in case my box fails!)
