When beautiful divorcee Lauren Kessler and her father Stan, a retired prosecutor, move to Philadelphia to start a new life, they think they have found the perfect house in the perfect neighbourhood.

But they soon realise that nothing could be further from the truth when they discover that a murder was recently committed in the house. The victim’s wife was convicted on circumstantial evidence and is now in prison for a crime she possibly never committed. So Lauren and Stan re-open the case and play amateur sleuths as they work to clear the woman’s name.
